Fresh Snow at Sonic Boom Record Store Day

Fresh Snow are a local band, who had a special release for Record Store Day this year. It was a split single with Metz (another Toronto band) which was released on Sonic Boom's new record label.
Fresh Snow was probably my favourite in-store of the day. They have no vocals in the band, with the music being cool psychedelia/kraut instrumental. For their live show, they used a projector that played different patterns and colours, which synced with the music, on a sheet that was tied to mic stands and was like a tent over the drummer. This made for a really cool atmosphere.
I really enjoyed their music as well, with the use of many different types of instruments. They only performed three songs, but the set lasted for half an hour. They completed their performance with their single which they were releasing for RSD.
I really enjoy the Metz/Fresh Snow single! I probably prefer the Fresh Snow song more than the Metz one, though both are very awesome. It was definitely a great new acquirement, and I recommend to check out both bands.
