Their music did not exactly suit my taste but I still enjoyed the show quite a lot, it almost had a bittersweet feeling about it since it would be my last show of Canadian Music Week for 2012.
There was a great turnout for Hate Gang's show, considering that they were the last band to perform at Sonic Boom, on a Saturday evening at 8pm. There were quite a few people there, dancing to the music including one guy who had been there and dancing throughout The Balconies' set. This really helped to ad to the energetic atmosphere set by the band's show. Their set was only around twenty minutes, but it was a great way to help segue out the in-stores. Their show was very energetic and loud - CMW at Sonic Boom to go out with a bang!
All the members of the band were very nice, and it was awesome having them complete my CMW poster with their signatures. I really liked the lead singer's leather jacket, which had 'Hate Gang' painted on the back in red.
Hate Gang did an amazing job with their performance, and I thought it was a great end to CMW at Sonic Boom.
