Craft Spells with The Drums

Craft Spells, The Drums' second opening act that night, are also from San Francisco but have a larger fan base internationally than Part Time.
This band has a slightly different sound then their co-opening act. Craft Spells was more indie-pop, though they still had an 80's influence on their sound, but it was not as much as a throwback to the era. Their music is also very similar to that of the headlining act, The Drums.
Craft Spells was very good live, and they put on a great show. The audience was very into their performance and was impressed by their set. The band's sound was great live and with all the hype around them, they are most definitely a band to check out if you have the chance. Craft Spells really helped to bridge between both Part Time and The Drums' performances, as they were almost like an in-between ground in their music. Their album, Idle Labor is a great record with a combination of 80's feel tunes and catchy indie-pop hooks. I would definitely recommend this as a great purchase.
All in all, both opening acts for The Drums were great and are some bands you must check out as well as watch out for in the near future.
