Coeur de Pirate in-store at Sonic Boom

Coeur de Pirate is a French-Canadian singer-songwriter from Quebec. She has recently released her second studio album, Blonde, a few months ago.
I really enjoy Coeur de Pirate's material, which is essentially pop music. Most of her songs have a strong piano part, which is not always evident in today's modern pop. I was actually lucky to find out about her due to my French teacher playing her music in class. Naturally since she is one of my favourite musicians, I was more than excited for this in-store.
Coeur de Pirate was great live! She performed a variety of songs off both of her albums. It was an acoustic set of sorts with Coeur de Pirate performing without her backing band. Her only accompaniment being her playing the piano. I really enjoyed her set, and was so happy that I got to see Coeur de Pirate live. She would definitely be even better playing a show with her backing band.
Coeur de Pirate is a great artist to see live and I would recommend her, even if you do not speak a word of French!
