The band's music is alternative/indie rock, that's upbeat and catchy. Most of the audience was there to specifically see Hollerado, which made for a great atmosphere since everyone was into the five o'clock performance, unlike some of the other acts I saw at the square for the festival. There live set is full of energy and the band interacted with the audience as well. There was never a dull moment in their show. It was a warm and sunny day out, so it was the perfect atmosphere for Hollerado's music. Their set was full of all their best songs off of their album, Record In A Bag, which I highly recommend. The band also made mention to their next studio album that they are working on.
This performance was my favourite of the festival along with Oberhofer at Sonic Boom (who played directly after Hollerado at Yonge & Dundas too) and I hope to see Hollerado again! They are definitely a band to check out if you have not already and they are an awesome band to see live.
