Nada Surf In-store at Sonic Boom

Nada Surf, an alternative rock band from New York, have been around for a nearly two decades and are still going strong.
At their acoustic in-store at Sonic Boom in Toronto, before their show at The Opera House that evening, it was shown how strong their fan-base still is with a good turnout of people, many of whom were heading to the full rock show later.
Nada Surf's newest album has continued to evolve their sound, I thought the few songs they played off The Stars Are Indifferent To Astronomy were very well done and really suited the acoustic performance. The band played around seven songs which even though most were newer, the crowd still enjoyed them. Though when offered the chance to request old or new material, it was a unanimous "old".
I really enjoyed Nada Surf's in-store and their new album is great. If you haven't listened to them already, they are definitely a band to check out!
