Indian Handcrafts at Sonic Boom CMW

Indian Handcrafts were the second band only consisting of two members to perform on the Friday, helping to set the trend for the day.
I had not listened to the band beforehand and so when the started into their first song, I almost jumped - having no idea what to expect. Indian Handcraft's sound is hard rock, though not too heavy or close to metal; rather more of an alternative sound. I actually quite enjoyed their music, and thought they were a very talented duo.
They had a good set of songs, with both members of the band contributing vocals. One moment that stood out during their performance, was when the lead singer/guitarist accidentally pulled the amp cord out of his guitar, therefore they ended the song early. Both members laughed it off with the audience, adding to the great atmosphere that already accompanied their performance. The band was very nice and charismatic both on and off stage.
I would definitely recommend Indian Handcrafts as even though they are hard rock, their riffs and rhythms are still very catchy.
They are luckily going to be performing on the side stage at Edgefest in Toronto this summer, so hopefully I will be able to see them again, and I recommend that you see them too!
