Lioness at Sonic Boom Record Store Day

Lioness are a local band, who have had a recent resurgence in popularity. Their music has a really cool alternative rock/dance sound to it. I really enjoy the band's upbeat and incredibly infectious tunes.
Vanessa Fischer's voice is unique, talented and really helps hooks the listener into the music. She also has a great stage presence, which made Lioness' live show awesome! I loved their music, and the energy from the performers was great as well. It was also cool how after the first song they performed with the main ceiling lights off, due to Fischer's mention of how she never goes out in the light. This helped to create the atmosphere for the show. There was a great amount of energy in the show, even though the members of the band didn't run around on stage, you could easily tell that they were all really into the music that they were making.
Lioness has great music and they are definitely a band to check out, and to see live for sure!
