The New Cities are a new band from Quebec, Canada. They have a dance-synth-pop sound. Their sound was not very unique in my opinion but it was not terrible either. The lead singer was very energetic and was constantly bouncing and running around the stage. The rest of the band was also hyper and they seemed to like to pick things up. The keyboardist would carry his keyboard around the stage and stand on it, which the synth player also joined in on. The synth player also played keytar at one point during the set, which was very cool. Their bassist was also wearing a Nirvana tshirt!
The band's sound was decent and their lead singer's voice was good. The crowd seemed to like them. The New Cities though is personally not my kind of music so I was not completely into the show.
They were also going to be hanging around one of the merch booths after the performance to meet [new] fans.
