Avril came on an hour and a half late of course, due to her multiple opening acts. Her show was also only that length as well. Though even with this short time for a performance of her level, Avril Lavigne still performed a great, solid setlist of songs from all her albums, including her big hits and her new songs. She was a bit disconnected from the crowd though and her talking seemed a bit scripted and not completely sincere. Avril ran around a lot on stage but was not super energetic or exciting, probably the most hyper moment of the show being her cartwheel towards the beginning of the performance. She also went offstage quite a bit, around 3 to 5 times, which was a bit disappointing though I think it was to fix her hair so she couldn't do that on stage I guess.
Avril Lavigne's show was not completely sold out but she seemed to have filled her audience better than some of her other shows across Canada, which she has been having trouble with recently. Also you could tell she is a bit stuck with where she wants to go with her career as she kept switching between a "swearing hard rocker" and a "girly popstar" throughout the show. Her crowd mainly consisted of teenage girls, along with younger tween girls with their mothers and quite a few families as well. This was different from the Hong Kong crowd. Also she did not play Nobody's Home or Keep Holding On again.
At the end of her set during the encore, she brought back out her first opening act, Evan T, onto stage. Apparently they are both very good friends and live only seven minutes away from each other in LA according to what Avril told the audience. They played a couple songs together before Avril proceeded to rap up her show with a fan-favourite, Complicated.
