LIGHTS - Siberia

Lights' largest show to date, the last performance on her Siberia tour, was sold out at the Sound Academy in Toronto where she played to three thousand people.
After seeing Lights at the CNE I knew I would definitely go see her again if I could on her upcoming Siberia tour. Her new album turned out to be superb and has been very popular. Also her live shows are always great as I learned on my second time seeing her.
Lights played a collection of instruments again such as both electric and acoustic guitar, keytar, keyboards, synth, as well as just singing for some songs. Her setlist was great including both her hit songs from The Listening and the more popular songs off Siberia. Almost verybody in the audience seemed to know every song off by heart, myself included. Her sound was extremely good and she put on a very good show. She was nice and relative talkative like the last time I saw her, also you can always tell that Lights enjoys playing in Toronto as it is her hometown show, since she is from the nearby town of Timmins. She interacted with the audience quite a bit on different levels. She even asked those in the audience with signs to hold them up so she could read them and apparently someone had come all the way from Newfoundland! She also recognized a guy who was front and center in the audience and had been camped out since Wednesday to secure that spot. Everybody at the concert seemed to be enjoying themselves greatly. The only possible negative aspect I could find of this concert would be that she did not play Cactus in the Valley both a personal and fan favourite. She did play other personal favourites (Lions! and Siberia) and did an acoustic rendition of February Air for her final song.
She is definitely a must-see concert, especially with her steadily increasing popularity.
